There are 4 junior suites that have the option of an adjoining room.
It is not possible to add an extra bed in any of the junior suites.
Bed sizes: Twin beds are 100 cm x 210cm; King beds are 180 cm x 210cm.
Crib can be added to selected suites.

Check-in information
Check-in is from 15:00. Checkout is until 11:00. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability.
Group bookings
For larger group reservations (9 rooms or more), please contact the sales department for an offer as rates, payment, and cancellation terms can be different.
Traveling with children
Since there is direct access to water surrounding the hotel, children aged 8 years or younger are not permitted to stay in suites on the ground floor. These suites include Lava View Junior Suites, Lagoon View Junior Suites, and Lagoon Suites.
All suites are designed for a maximum occupancy of 2 adult guests. We do offer interconnected junior suites in the Lava View Junior suite or Moss Junior suite categories.
Sofas in the Lagoon Suites or Moss Suites can be transformed into a bed for 1 child up to 11 years of age. The supplemental charge for this service is ISK 50,000 per night.
We can provide a baby cot free of charge for children aged 0-2 years in the Moss Suite or Moss Junior Suite.
*Minimum age for using the Retreat Spa and the Retreat Lagoon is 12 years. All guests 12-18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult guardian during their visit.
**Minimum age for using the Blue Lagoon is 2 years. All children 2-15 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult guardian during their visit.
Age restriction at Moss restaurant is 12 years.
If guests are traveling with children, it is the reseller’s responsibility to share information about which rules apply at the hotel, including age restrictions.

Booking procedure
Bookings shall be made in writing to the Retreat sales department. All information regarding the client, billing address, and contact person responsible for the booking shall be clearly stated.
The agreement of the reservation of rooms and/or services is valid when the signed contract is returned or confirmation in writing is received (email is accepted as a written agreement). Each booking must include the following information:
– The booking shall state the number of suites and type of accommodation booked.
– The booking shall include date of arrival, departure, total number of nights, and preferred arrival time.
– Both individual and group bookings must include all guests’ names and nationality, as well as age of children if applicable. Group bookings must also include the name of group and number of people, as well as number of adults and children.
Booking is only confirmed when the Retreat sales department has confirmed the booking in writing and the appropriate deposits are made under these conditions.
Cancellations and booking modifications
All cancellations or changes must be communicated in writing to the Retreat sales department.
All cancellations should be made in writing to the Retreat sales department with an email to the respective account manager or to retreat@bluelagoon.com stating the booking number as reference. For bookings canceled outside of the provided cancellation notice, the full price of the original booking will be charged.
Blue Lagoon reserves the right to cancel all bookings and reservations, when unable to provide the company’s services due to force majeure events such as, but not limited to, weather, strikes, natural disasters, or any other irregularity outside the company’s control. In such an event, no compensation or refund is payable.
