The Mask bar offers three types of skincare samples:
Silica Mud Mask: This iconic mask is the first-ever product developed by Blue Lagoon Skincare and has been a best-seller for decades. All guests get a sample of the Silica Mud mask.
Algae Mask: This potent face mask is included in the Premium and Signature admission types. Comfort guests can purchase a sample.
Lava Scrub: Made with real lava rocks from Blue Lagoon surroundings, this exfoliating mask is both natural and effective. It’s included in the Premium and Signature admission types.
You can head to the gift shop at the end of your visit and purchase your very own Blue Lagoon Skincare products.
What to expect
The Silica Mud Mask starts off supple, but as it reacts to your skin it stiffens and turns completely opaque. Leave on for about 10 minutes and rinse off using the lagoon water or at the tap near the Mask bar.
The Algae Mask is green in color and extremely potent. Leave on for 5 minutes, or less if your skin is sensitive, and rinse off using either lagoon water or water from the tap near the Mask bar.
The Lava Scrub is a little coarse and charcoal in color. Apply using circular motions, avoiding the eye area, and rinse off after letting it sit on your skin for a few minutes.
